Good Guys

Welcome to the second installment of my "All Mario Website". This time we are looking into the world of Mario and his allies. Mario's allies range from active to do nothing and be captured. But either way all of these allies have done something. But of course to start off, I will show my personal favourite, Mario!

 

This is Mario as most of you should know. In this picture I am showing him with F.L.O.O.D. F.L.O.O.D. was introduced to us in "Super Mario Sunshine" where you have to save Isle Delfino by cleaning it up. Mario has an array of moves range from jumps to ground-pounds to wall jumps (most of his moves involve jumping). Most of the time Mario has needed to save Princess Peach. Who can't seem to do anything but stand around and talk. Mario first appeared in North America for the NES. Mario is still a big success and is still continuesly growing.

The next character I will show is Luigi, Mario's brother. Luigi is Mario's sidekick. He is more comedic than Mario, getting scared at the worst of times and being late when there is an epic battle. He is mocked by some and cherished by others. Most people either hate or love him. Luigi has appeared a couple games on his own (I have played one of his games) which don't seem to have the same effect. The one game I did own was actually pretty good. I think he will always be kickin' around, but only as a sidekick.

Princess Peach has been has been with Mario for quite a while but she still hasn't learned to defend herself. She is usually captured by bowser but sometimes is captured by someone else. She generally is a good-for-nothing but she did have her times. Like in the game "Super Princess Peach" where Peach has a majic umbrella and can changer ger moods at willand in "Super Paper Mario" where she is one of the playable characters and floats around with her umbrella. There is not a ton to actually say about princess Peach so I will just leave it with that.

The next character I will talk about is the Toads. These cute charcaters apear several times in different Mario games doing different things (they appear as different colors like red, blue, purple, etc). Most of the time they are either captured or freaking out about stuff that is happening. The Toads have actually had a part in saving the Princess. In the "New Super Mario Bros" games for the Wii they actually were playable characters with equivelent skills of Mario. They in general are not very good characters but would be missed if they were not there.

Toadette is a not well known character and that is why I am adding her to my website. I don't know too much about her so I am just going to say what I know. Toadette is basically the female version of a Toad. I believe that Toadette is in a relationship with one of the Toads but I don't know. She made appearences in the "Mario Party" (which are board-game based videogames) and "MarioKart"( which is a racing game) and not many other games.
